White Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies

Ordinarily, baking cookies is already something I really enjoy. One of the things that I always try to do is have homemade desserts always available for my family. Something about filled cookie jars just makes me feel like a better mom (wouldn’t your kids agree with that?)

And since we are quickly approaching Christmas, that is even more of a reason to bake away. I went to the thrift store a couple weeks ago and found a few really cute cookie tins for a dollar (that would normally cost double or triple at Walmart) – so I may be making another batch of these cookies to give away right before Christmas to some friends.

White Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies

The recipe for these cookies is pretty standard, though you may be surprised at how little flour I used. The result is a butter rich center and an outer crunch from caramelized sugar.

When I was baking these, I realized that my baking stuff in the pantry were looking like a hot mess. And if you follow me on Instagram, you might already know that I’ve started to fix this by organizing some stuff in mason jars.

Organized all my baking mix ins using 8 oz mason jars. Way cute and easier to view in the pantry! #baking #organization #nuts

And this coincides with a project I’ve already been working on this past week, which is cleaning out all the kitchen cabinets and reorganizing (there will be a post on ZullysWorld about that soon).
