Hi! I’m Zully and I love creating and sharing recipes
I started cooking when I was about 8 or 9. Not because my mom made me or because no one else made dinner, but because I loved to watch Food Network and try new foods. As I got older, my mom let me help prepare our Thanksgiving dinner each year and it’s still my favorite holiday.
Now that I have my own family, I cook because sharing a recipe with my husband and children is so rewarding. I love to see them enjoy what I made with so much love.
In addition for my passion for cooking, I love to teach. I’m an Elementary Education major, set to graduate at the end of 2021. So helping others learn is something I truly find rewarding.
Why I have a food blog
FoodieZoolee is a place where my passions for food, teaching (and planning), come together.
I launched this blog in 2010, to share my creations as well as reviews of local restaurants. My recipes are a mix of Puerto Rican, Cuban, and American foods along with anything interesting I have been trying lately. My restaurant reviews are mostly in Central Florida, but also include NYC, Miami, and Jacksonville, FL. I love adding my honest reviews on Google Maps, and all about scoring points as a “Guide”.
Thanks for visiting – let’s stay connected!
