I think it’s official that grilling season has begun. And in continuation of this month’s theme of National Hamburger Month, I’m sharing healthy side dishes for burgers.
What is a healthy side?
For the recipe ideas I am sharing today, I would say a healthy side dish for burgers would be one that isn’t necessarily fried or high in carbs. On the other hand, everything is okay in moderation! Would I make only healthy side dishes for a barbecue even with family? Not really. But I would be trying to make sure there’s a good mix of healthy and indulgent foods. If not for your own health, at least for your family and guests to have some options depending on their dietary needs.
On Instagram, I shared just 4 side dish dishes for burgers, but since you’ve come to the blog I’m giving you WAY more for inspiration.
