I’ve been such a bad girl lately with sweets. I have so many weak moments and switching my birth control hasn’t helped (sidenote: if that’s TMI then just scroll down to the recipe my love). So I’ve been trying to redirect my cravings and using more natural sugars before I even consider cutting sugar all the way.
So what’s the surprise?
The fluffy foodie blogger reason for ‘surprise’ is that the word surprise is supposed to intrigue you to click on my post. AKA clickbait. Gotcha!
The TRUTH? There are too many ingredients to make it into a title and these were the orange things that would be more obvious.
So let’s get on with the recipe!
Carrot Cantaloupe Surprise
A smoothie recipe that looks orange and tastes great. Ingredients may be fresh or frozen.
Ingredients
smoothie
- 1 carrot
- 1/4 cup cantaloupe
- 1/4 cup pineapple
- 1/4 cup grapefruit
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 cup water
optional
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 3-4 cubes of ice
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a blender.
