Recently I had family visiting and needed to have enough food for 10 people. Even though I love cooking and was happy to see them after a few years, it was not good timing for my kitchen. I didn’t have enough meat for that many people and I didn’t have too much time on my hands to figure it out!
So I ended up calling a restaurant I heard about from friends to see what they had to offer. They offered a dozen pork chops for less than $25. I thought this was a great deal, and the fact that they would have it ready just in time for me was even better (a couple hours)!
I kept them warm in the oven while the rest of the meal was prepared (white rice and pink beans).
These pork chops were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I really loved the additional color and flavor of the peppers and onions that were part of it (I enjoy yellow bell peppers the most).
The restaurant has seating, but I would suggest ordering ahead to take home on a day when you don’t feel like cooking dinner.
