It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted a recipe or review, and the truth is I’ve been having a battle within myself of what I want to do on this blog. I still love cooking and I still love food, but there has been a need for me to not make it the central part of my life.
Throughout my absence, I’ve tried a few diets and so far it is all going terribly. I’ve gained some weight and I’m trying to figure out a plan – something that sticks so that I can shed some pounds and feel healthy again.
I’m awaiting allergy and blood testing to see if there is anything going on, but I have a hunch it is more about emotional eating and less scheduled physical activity.
I wanted to put this out here because it’s the start of keeping myself accountable. Actually publishing what I want to do makes me have to post an update, right?
In the meantime, feel free to suggest some of your favorite motivational blogs for healthier food alternatives and ignore that I may not be posting super healthy stuff right away.
