All-American Summer Fest | Miller’s Ale House

This post is brought to you by Miller’s Ale House. All opinions are my own.

We recently visited Miller’s Ale House to try their All-American Summer Fest menu and it was such a blast. I can’t wait to go back so I can get another Watermelon Rita. Keep reading this post to see how you can, too!

We like to go to Ale House for date nights and especially when I can watch a Yankee or Patriots game (I know those are contradicting teams, but it’s who I like!). I usually think of wings, beer, and fried calamari, but there’s currently an All-American Summer Fest going on that you’re gonna want to check out!

Let me just say this – I don’t like watermelon. For the “Pre-Party”, we had a Watermelon Rita and I have to be completely honest – I loved it. Now I will describe it more because it may or may not be your thing. What I loved about it was that it was very sweet and a bit sour. It was a totally different kind of drink and didn’t taste strong at all.

Up next were the  Opening Acts (or appetizers) – I love that they came up with these cool names for each part of the meal. We had both the Backyard BBQ Brisket Sliders and the N’awlins Style Shrimp. The Brisket Sliders were so tender and had the perfect amount of BBQ sauce (not too much not to little). But my personal favorite were the peel and eat shrimp – as you would guess they were cajun seasoned, but the seasoning was not overpowering at all.

We tried both Main Stage entrees, but again I was really impressed with how tender the meat was cooked. I could tell it was all fresh (not reheated) food and it made it taste better. We also tried a Bourbon Shrimp Skewer and I definitely would choose that over the corn on the cob next time.

I probably wouldn’t suggest having fried Twinkies every night, but for a night out and a fun dessert, these really ended our meal with a bang!

I’d like to give a special thanks to Miller’s Ale House for allowing FoodieZoolee.com the opportunity for a delicious tasting! It’s always nice to share about places I already love to visit on here 🙂

  1. Girls nights at Ale House were a common thing when I went to college in Orlando! We used to get Zinger Mountain Melts, but since I’ve since switched over to a healthier lifestyle, I’d love to try some of these fresh summer options! The Cajun Shrimp looks great, and I normally don’t like margaritas but the watermelon one might convert me 🙂

    1. Did you know that’s their one of their best selling items?! I can totally understand why, but yes the shrimp were delish!

That watermelon Rita looks amazing! I may have to be on the lookout for a similar drink before the summer ends!

    1. I may or may not be making a copycat version on here 😉

  7. I have been on a margarita kick this summer – don’t judge 🙂 I thought I have added every fruit imaginable, but you proved me wrong with the watermelon. I’m actually infusing some tequila with jalapeno, which I might have to try with the watermelon.

    1. Ooh that sounds amazing! I’ve got to try that the next time I’m having a girls night 😉
